Eating meals together is an important part of maintaining people’s mental wellbeing. At Deaf Hub we are aware that mealtimes can be an isolating and lonely time for Deaf and Hard of Hearing People as there is often a struggle to be included in conversation.

Our BSL lunch event is designed to be inclusive to all people, no matter their communication preference, with the focus being on communication and inclusivity. The BSL lunch runs on Mondays from 11am-1pm fortnightly for Deaf Hub staff and the community to come together to eat a hot meal at the lovely Forget Me Not cafe inside Moulton Community Centre.

There is a wide variety of food on offer that caters for many different dietary requirements including vegetarian and vegan food. We welcome people who are learning BSL or want to improve with their BSL skills to join us during their lunch break. It will be fantastic opportunity to meet members of the deaf community.

The lunch is held at the Forget Me Not Cafe at the Moulton Park Community centre. Click here for more information.
